  • Overview

    This rapidly growing company is located in Ontario, CA and is well known for manufacturing and distributing firearm accessories. They are looking to add a hands-on lead programmer/set up machinist to their 20 person team, and take pride in their high-energy and friendly environment. 

     

    In this position, you will be given the opportunity to make an impact on the CNC department as the company continues move their manufacturing facility back to California (there are 3 machines so far, with more to come!). Additionally, there are growth possibilities including training (for the right candidate of course). 

     

    This will be a 1st shift position from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

     

    Benefits include (but are not limited to): 1 week PTO for the first 3 years (then two years after that), paid holidays, and paid sick time 

    Responsibilities

    • Programming and setting up CNC lathes, mills, and millturns
    • Utilizing Solidworks to create drawings 
    • Training and mentoring other machinists 

    Qualifications

    • Experience setting up and programing CNC lathes, mills, and or mill turns 
    • Must have experience programming/setting up horizontal mills
    • Ability to troubleshoot/help with process improvements 
    • Experience working with start-up companies a plus 
    • Familiarity with Solidworks 
    • Comfortable around firearms
    • Training and leadership experience 
    • Doosan and Fanuc knowledge preferred
