    This 100+ year old company includes 3 facilities across the state of Illinois. Founded in 1888, this organization focuses on the production and manufacturing of custom gears. Each of their locations has its own machining department and utilizes the latest technological advances.     Currently, the company is looking for a talented Maintenance Mechanic to work their 2nd shift position (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) at their Addison location. In sum, you will be focused on repairing and rebuilding PM’s on CNC and manual machines

    Responsibilities

    • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs schedules maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

    • Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs

    • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair packaging and production machines

    • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

    • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules

    • Perform other duties and work assignments as required and directed

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repair
    • Previous maintenance experience required with CNC Repairing/Rebuilding, Industrial Furnace Repairs, Rebuilds or Installation
    • Familiarity with both CNC machines and Conventional machines a plus 

    • Steel manufacturing experience would also be beneficial
