  • Overview

    Located in Santa Ana, this company is looking for a skilled programmer and set up machinist to join their growing team. They have been in business for 79 years, and produce a spectrum of high quality, high performance, reliable, welded hydraulic cylinders and steering equipment. Their facility houses 6 HAAS machines (lathes and mills) and expecting to add a 7th in the near future. There are 20-25 employees currently who have an averaged tenure close to 10 years. 

     

    In this role, you will be able to take projects from cradle to grave and be hands on in the production process. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company as they continue to grow and add new machines to their facility. 

     

    This is a 1st shift position, beginning at 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with some opportunities for overtime.

    Responsibilities

    • Programming and setting up both lathes and mills (HAAS and Doosan)

    Qualifications

    • Strong programming experience on CNC lathe, and the ability to program CNC mills (HAAS and Doosan)
    • Must be able to edit programs at the machine
    • Knowledge of 3 axis mills and complex lathes (4 axis, millturns, and or live tooling) a must
    • Experience with Mastercam preferred, but not required if strong on other programming softwares
