    This company is located in the beautiful coastal town of Vista, California and is a growing player in producing manufacturing resources for the medical industry.     This role comes with a plenty of opportunity for growth, and could potentionally turn into leadership position for the right candidate. Additionally, this could potentially be a dual position for a candidate with Esprit CNC programming experience.


    The company currently has 22 people, with about 8 CNC machines (but growing!) and has continually built a welcoming work environment that promotes work life balance.

    • Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
    • Design, build and/or purchase fixtures, equipment and tools as needed to ensure quality products at minimal costs.
    • Develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes in the fabrication of complex medical parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
    • Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for processing raw materials and/or components into partially finished and/or finished products.
    • Responsible for the continuing analysis of methods, capacity, process technique, equipment and materials to improve productivity in the manufacturing operation.
    • Recommend and implement corrective action for procedures, products, or process deficiencies.
    • Ensure manufacturing documentation and process validation are complete, accurate and within GMP compliance.
    • Work with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
    • Interact with customers and/or suppliers to solve reliability issues, answer general product questions, develop and standardize inspection methods and or techniques to ensure components compliance with specifications.
    • Work with manufacturing vendors in resolving manufacturing and quality issues.
    • Support Internal and External audits.
    • Comply with all applicable regulations and industry standards and all safety and environmental standards


    • Experience in a medical device and or aersospace environment 
    • Ability to program CNC machines with Esprit software a large plus 
    • Monitor timelines and project deliverables to ensure adherence with approved project plans for manufacturing process development.
    • Continuously seeking ways to improve complex systems of people and process, while eliminating waste.
    • Working knowledge of medical device regulations and associated quality systems, particularly design controls and risk management.
    • Knowledge of FDA and ISO guidelines for the development of medical devices required.
    • Project management experience required.
    • CNC machining experience a plus
    • 6 Sigma certifications preferred
