    Located in the city of South Bend, this company was founded back in 1934 and focuses on manufacturing high-quality gears. In total, the organization has 4 facilities and serves a myriad of industries, including aerospace, construction, defense, automotive, and medical. With 60-80 machines and 120 employees and a climate controlled 100,000 sqft plant, this operation is searching for responsible and dedicated ID/OD Grinding Technicians.


    This is a 2nd shift position from 2:30-11PM. 


    This position will allow you to set up and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes to machine products to meet dimensional and finish requirements. You will also edit and develop programs and/or manually program at the machine control to obtain desired part form and finish while meeting quality and productivity standards.

    • Set up and operate CNC lathes 
    • Set up and operate CNC mills if necessary 
    • Edit programs at the machine 


    • Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes 
    • Millturn and or live tooling experienced required 
    • Mill experience preferred but not required (3-4 axis) 
    • Two-year certification from technical school or two plus years of experience in setup and operation of
      mills/lathes or related field.
    • Must be able to communicate in English
    • Ability to use a computer
