Founded 100 years ago, this company specializes in designing and producing large scale OEM bearings and associated hardware for US Navy ships and submarines in long-term contracts. They are dedicated to producing reliable products by continuously monitoring QA and QC measures throughout each process. Their shop, home to 30 employees and located in Garden Grove CA, has a number of large CNC machines including Okuma bridge and gantry mills, as well as large VTL's.
This is a 1st shift position, Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM, with overtime opportunities on Fridays and weekends.
In this position, they are looking for a highly experienced programmer who can demonstrate responsibilities of a manufacturing engineer by programming using a CAD/CAM system, as well as utilize lean manufacturing principles to ensure a smooth production environment.

Utilize Esprit and Solidworks to design and program large multi axis CNC mills and lathe
Prepare detailed work instructions and factory documentation related to processes such as set up, tooling and inspections
Determine optimal tooling and gauging requirements
Develop new processes and methods for standardization and cost reductions
Work closely with department personnel ensuring quality and satisfaction of customer needs
Train personnel on manufacturing processes
