This company, with multiple locations in the Midwest, was founded in 1990. They provide 3D CAD software services and engineering support including leveraging 3D engineering technologies to drive innovation and achieve business goals for a variety of customers in the manufacturing space. They continuously strive to offer top tier customer service and be a valued extension of their clients' team.

 

They are currently looking to add an API Programmer to their team in a direct-hire remote position. Within the position, you would be responsible for the ownership of projects from concept to delivery, interfacing directly with customers while proving outstanding services ranging from API's, data migrations, and support throughout full application development. 

 

This is direct-hire, remote, full time position. Operations for this role are housed in their Germantown WI location.

Responsibilities

  • Build APIs and conduct data migrations
  • Interface directly with customers to provide utility and develop APIs
  • Implement systems and test applications in API in-house testing environment
  • Debug and troubleshoot codes for existing programs as needed
  • Conduct user training post install
  • Create and develop tool library's
  • Develop and write add-ins, migrations, integrations etc. 
  • Collaborate with VP of Engineering Services, Project Management team, and PDM team to ensure quality of service, project status and timeliness of completion
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Business Development to support post-sales efforts

Qualifications

  • 3+ years computer programming experience
  • 2 or 4 year education in computer programming or related field
  • Extensive experience using VB.NET, C#, and SQL
  • Deep understanding of data modeling and relational database
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking and hardware requirements
  • Strong time management skills and ability to self determine priority of projects
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with CAD software a big plus (Solidworks, Creo, SolidEdge)
  • Experience within manufacturing or data analytics also a big plus
