Grinder Machinist

An elite team of about 100 employees work on a variety of machines including mills, lathes, mill turn, and grinders to manufacture precision equipment for their customers.

This is a 1st shift position with a flexible start time of 6 AM on Monday- Friday. The goal to maintain a strong work-life balance.

• Operate CNC and some manual grinders
• Set wheels, tooling and tables
• Complete required work documents such as inspection sheets 
• Complete successful first article inspections
• Maintain equipment, machines, and facilities

• Experience with cylindrical grinding machines
• Experience with complex contours
• Knowledge of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, etc
• Ability to read, understand, and translate blueprints and job orders
• Knowledge of first article inspection
• Studer Win programming experience is preferred 
• Experience with Studer and/or UVA grinding machines is a plus!
• Some G-code knowledge on Kellenberger
