This family owned company in Seattle, WA, makes unique and complex parts for the aerospace industry. Since 1941, their stability within the industry has been proven by their commitment to tackling even the toughest projects. 

 

With 70+ machines across a multi-building campus housing 130+ employees, we are looking for a dedicated machinist to work on 3-4 axis mills. Set up and operation will be part of the day-to-responsibilities but a growth mentality and can do attitude will make your role within the organization excel as there are ample ways to progress your career internally. What's more, employee tenure ranges up to 30 years boasting plentiful employee growth!

 

Multiple shifts are available with overtime on Saturdays (not required but strongly encouraged).

  • 1st shift: 5/8 schedule M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Swing shift: 4/10 schedule 2:15 PM - 12:50 AM

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathe
  • Edit programs at the machine
  • Perform first article and in process inspections
  • Other duties around the shop

 

Qualifications

  • Strong experience setting up, operating, and editing mills and/or lathe
  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls
  • Ability to edit programs at the machine 
  • Understanding of blueprints, drawings, and models
  • Knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges etc.
