2nd Shift Lathe Machinist

Located in Paramount, CA, this operation serves a myriad of industries including aerospace, cryogenics, automotive, technology, etc. and employees over 30 employees. The owners take great pride in the long tenure of their employees and the company's growth trajectory.

This role will put you in a position to support production machining in a dynamic and growing environment by running one of many multi-machine cells. This is a great role to learn different machines, working alongside experenced and tenured machinists. 

This is a 2nd shift position Monday - Thursday 3 PM - 1 AM with some overtime opportunities as well.

• Set up and operate CNC lathe cell (New Doosan and Mori 2 axis machines) to produce a myriad of parts and components 
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements, specifications, and desired outcomes for production.

• 5+ years of complex setup machining preferred on lathe 
• Lathe CAM programming experience preferred but not necessary - this is an opportunity to develop that skill set further
