Swiss Screw Programmer – Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
El Cajon, CA

As a Swiss Screw Programmer, you’ll play a key role in programming Citizen and Tsugami machines delivering efficient, accurate, and repeatable machining operations for high-performance components used in demanding applications. You will also have the opportunity to program parts for mill and mill turn machines as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Program Swiss Screw, Mill-Turn, and Mill machines
  • Translate CAD models and drawings to G-code
  • Select tooling requirements, speeds/feeds, etc 
  • Optimize machining performance and ability 
  • Create set up sheets and machining documentation 
  • Collaborate with other departments 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or trade school certification required
  • 5+ years programming Swiss machines (Esprit or similar)
  • Strong understanding of G-code
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD models
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
