Currently, they have a head-count of 400+ employees with an average tenure of 16 years. In this position, you would have the opportunity to work at their headquarters located in Costa Mesa, CA. 

 

In this position, you would be responsible for the set up, operation, and editing of programs for CNC Multi-Tasking Horizontal Machining Centers (Mazak). 

 

This is a 2nd shift position from 2:30 - 11 PM, Monday - Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and edit programs for CNC multi-tasking HMCs
  • Analyze blueprints to determine specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, and instructions
  • Perform in process and first article inspections using various hand tools to verify conformance and quality 
  • Complete work records and use hand tools as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in operating CNC mill or lathe machines
  • Ability to edit programs at the machine
  • Strong background in shop theory and GD&T
  • Strong knowledge and use of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Knowledge of proper fluid levels and coolant for maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge of safe hitching and rigging techniques to manipulate parts
